Thanks for prayers for T. when he hurt his back and couldn't stand/walk since last Wed. He's back on his feet now... pls pray for his discipline to continue strengthening his back muscles through swimming to prevent chronic onset.

We look forward to home leave and catching up with you loved ones back home in June. Do also intercede for the land we're coming from... there's been whispers of unrest (a riot in the South last weekend) esp. over the recent escalation of oil prices and reduction of govt. subsidies. We're concerned of intent for temp. chaos in the city by those who may profit from it.

Celebrating Our Beautiful Saviour - Youth English Service

This coming Easter Sunday we worship our Beautiful Saviour in celebrating His victory over the grave through the shedding of His blood.

We are extending in faith towards all the Eng-speaking youths and teens in our congregation & their friends/peers to join us in this festival of celebrating death defeated and life everlasting through grace and faith.

Please pray for our  youths & teens and their parents to keep the faith of our L. through this joyous event and hereafter, for their courage to reach out to their friends with the good news, and for us ministry workers to always keep our eyes on Him who is able to keep us from falling and presenting us spotless before His throne.

We're baaaaaaaack..... & overdue updates

We're back posting on this blog (in shame for T. over lack of "discipline") after Bro. Gl's visit last week. His coming over was very much a breath of urgently needed fresh air after Sis. El. stay with us last Dec.

E1 celebrated his coming into manhood this week... he is now officially bar-mitzvahed and the accountability is on T.'s shoulders to raise him up as a son in the new covenant. Please keep us in your prayers. May E1's faith and passion for his Saviour BLAZE like the many candles on his cake!!!

Dear bro's & sis's who had passed through Gl. your love gifts, thank you thank you thank you! Bro DK, got your agape sms, it was a light for T. on that day which was pretty bleak and dark outside and inside the windows. Thank you and L. and bless you for the excellent divine timing. 

And to dear Connectors who've discovered the channel of continued "spoiling" EEEN by the proxy of Gl's visit, we all enjoyed the wonderful dinner TreaT and your company in spirit (EEN are still smacking their lips in delight, esp. E3 who ate the share of E1 + E2). Thank you thank you thank you! 

We miss you all desperately.

Past-Ah? Yam!

In this land there is a youth pastor.

He has chiseled cheekbones & chin and dimples (sorry, Ps. H.Y.). His shoulders are twice the width of his waist (sorry, Ps. H.Y.). He is more than 1.8 m tall (VERY sorry, Ps. H.Y.). He has a full head of soft brown thick wavy hair with bronze highlights (TRULY sorry, Ps. H.Y.). He is also married with kids (sorry, u gals), though that has not stopped the female congregation from going, "Past-ah? Yam!"

Oh, he is Hawaiian Chinese, which kinda rules me out, though I guess you'd have guessed that by now.

Thank you all so much for your faithful & fervent prayers, and esp. your belief F, E3 & N will be well. They've all almost recovered fully & eating well again, save for E1 who has just started getting better. Thank you & thank God for His mercy & healing touch.

Elaine-jie-jie, also thanks to you for taking time off work to visit us for Five Full Days! Just after a lovely visit from F's mum & aunt. You can now affirm among hometown folks that Local Custom #1 is not a figment of our imagination, creatively-juiced up mind nor just plain insanity settling on us like the smog in this land! We miss your company already!

What A Christmas / New Year!

Dear beloved back home,

We'd received the lovely "holiday packs" from dear cousins & the dear people @ 1Leed, thank you very much for the cards & gifts. We're much more homesick now with memories of familiar faces & shared times of celebration.

it's a very wet Christmas & New Year here and the whole family has fallen sick since last Sat (except T., surprisingly the 1st to fall ill usually). High fever and vomiting, w/ F., E2 & N suffering the most of no food & drink for almost 3 days. F. was so weak face turned bloodlessly pale & fainted during a walk: T. Had privilege to carry her back from ground floor mall back to apartment. E1 had just succumbed to same symptoms on Mon. E3 who had fever of 40.1, thank God, was first to recover.

Please keep the kids esp. in prayer, E1 & E2 had their fevers spiking up again just this afternoon. N cont. with low grade fever & little appet. F. is better & up and about but still tired and esp. started work again prep. for new school term next Mon. Only E3 & I are the only ones fine, except T. woke up this morn with right eye completely red & cont. to be so as he writes.

Will update on their condition. Our prayers are also with Hel. Kh. whom we heard is still in isolation. God give her complete healing & strength and grace to Kh. and fam.

God have mercy and carry us all through these times.
